John is the Director of the Campbell Institute and serves as the Director for Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) at the National Safety Council. Since joining the National Safety Council in 2007, John has led numerous high-impact programs, including the prestigious Robert W. Campbell Award. John is a frequent speaker at conferences in North America and Europe on topics including EHS&S management systems, leadership, and leading indicators. Prior to joining the Council, John held quality management, project management, and coalition-building positions in the communication and educational fields.
Katherine has been with the Campbell Institute at the National Safety Council since 2012 and currently serves as its Program Manager. Her responsibilities include managing the Robert W. Campbell Award process, maintaining operations for the Campbell Institute and serving on the National Safety Council’s internal EHS Team while chairing the Ergonomics Committee. She has a Masters in Biopolitics from Northern Illinois University and earned her Advanced Safety Certificate through the National Safety Council in 2013.
